Do I have an old or a new model Damixa ball?
Actually, this is not really visible on the outside of the tap.
Around 2003, Damixa switched from an older ball type to the latest model, the 13080. Together with the 13056, this forms the internals. Earlier models are being completely replaced by a repair kit 23486.
You can tell whether it's an old or new type by looking at the top of the ball. To do this, loosen the lever using the Allen key under the blue/red cap at the bottom of the grip (hex key size 3mm).

The older model will look like this; note the adjustment ring. This type can be converted to the latest model with the kit. 23486
An installation instruction has also been made for this type: " Converting an old model Damixa 54/50 or 70 with the 23486.00 "
