K-46 Eco Item number 7640000-00 This is how an Eco cartridge works.   It's very simple: because the lever only uses cold water in the middle position, additional energy is saved.   Unlike most single-lever mixers, the lever opens in the middle position without adding hot water. When the lever is moved to the left, as usual, you'll receive warm water of approximately 38°C with a noticeable resistance. After passing this resistance, you'll get hot water. The lever can hardly be moved to the right, if at all; the middle position is visually the most attractive.   Besides saving energy, the Eco cartridge also offers water conservation. After moving the lever upward, approximately 59% of the water flow is reached again when a noticeable resistance is encountered. Only after passing this resistance does the maximum water flow.   The Eco cartridge's 2-stage volume control can save up to 50% water. <img title="Eco cartouche" alt="" src=" {{media url="wysiwyg/image002.png"}} " />
