Franke Twister Cleaner for Stainless Steel Worktops (note: not for the "hot-rolled" finish) 112.0386.043
As one of the world's largest stainless steel processors, the quality and specifications of our suppliers are paramount to Franke. The stainless steel used in the production of sinks and countertops is of the highest quality, chrome-nickel steel. Under normal household conditions, stainless steel cannot rust.
Nevertheless, brown spots can still appear on your sink. These are caused by external factors. The brown spots are caused by iron particles that have landed on the stainless steel. These iron particles react with the stainless steel, creating the brown spots.
If the spots are visible, they can be removed by simple cleaning. Once the iron is removed from the stainless steel, the reaction will stop.
Franke Twister
The Franke Twister is specially designed for cleaning and maintaining stainless steel sinks and countertops. The Twister lightly polishes the stainless steel, giving it a brilliant shine.
Moisten the supplied sponge thoroughly and apply a sufficient amount of cleaning agent to the sponge.
Apply the cleaning solution to the surface to be cleaned using a circular motion. Make sure to keep the sponge moist and use sufficient cleaning solution. It's important not to let the cleaning solution dry on the treated surface.
After applying the cleaning agent to the entire surface to be cleaned, you can remove any cleaning residue with a damp, clean cloth.
Rub the surface dry with a tea towel.
After use, let the Twister dry before closing the lid. The Franke Twister is environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
Maintenance instructions
Regular maintenance preserves the finish of your stainless steel product. To preserve your stainless steel surface, we recommend:
Always use a cutting board, never cut directly on the surface.
Avoid scratches and do not slide hard materials over the surface.
Don't place hot pans, etc., directly on the surface; use a trivet (e.g., a Franke rolling mat). The heat can cause stains and rings.
Acidic and chemical products (e.g., chlorine) can irreparably damage stainless steel and cause stains. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Do not use cleaning agents containing greasy ingredients, as soap residue may leave stains on the surface.
The countertop is made of 304 stainless steel. This material is suitable for domestic use, but is not acid-resistant. Therefore, avoid harsh agents such as denture cleaner, chlorine, paint stripper, cement residue remover, drain cleaner, metal shavings, toilet paper, silver cleaner, etc.
