How to replace the VR31 rings on the Vola KV1 spout
If you have a Vola faucet with a double swivel spout (like the KV1 in this example), it's relatively easy to replace the washers if they leak at the spout's seams. Of course, that's if you know how to remove the spout ;-) In this example, we explain how to replace the VR31 washers (there are four of them in the faucet).
Step 1
The starting situation, a tap that leaks at the seams and you want to place the 4 VR31 rings.
Step 2
To release the spout, turn it all the way up and then pull it forward.
Step 3
Now that the front piece of the spout is off you can access the first 2 VR31 rings.
Step 4
If you also want to replace the bottom rings, turn the run-on until it is opposite the control (180 degrees), then it can be lifted up and you can also replace these 2 VR31 rings.
Once the rings are in place, replace the two parts of the spout and the spout will be leak-free again.
