Replacing the internals of a Damixa Venus 16000 with a leaking kitchen faucet

In this example, we explain how to replace the internals of a leaking Damixa Venus kitchen faucet. We'll use internals set 23924 (a combination of 13297 and 13298) with lever fastener set 23065.

Step 1

This is the starting point, in this example we limit ourselves to the cold side, because the warm side is the same

Step 2

This might be a little stuck but should come loose.

Step 3

You can now insert a screwdriver diagonally upwards through one of the 4 slots and pry off the color indicator 23065, which usually breaks in the process.

Step 4

Now a white ring is visible, remove it and leave it off, You don't put this back . In some cases it's no longer there (yet), so that's not a problem.

Step 5

You can loosen the internals with a 17mm ring spanner. If it's very tight, you can gently tap the wrench with a hammer to loosen it. This will almost always release it.

Step 6

Next, you can unscrew the internals, making sure everything comes out. Sometimes the ring on the bottom of the internals gets stuck in the faucet (often causing the old internals to fall apart). If you then install the new one, the entire assembly is too thick, and you immediately break the new internals. so pay attention.

Step 7

Now screw in the new internals (13297 for cold and 13298 for warm) and tighten them gently (not too tight, it's not necessary).

Step 8

Now you can place the new color indicators 23065, simply press them into place.

Step 9

Then, tighten the internals. If you don't, the handle will be crooked.

Step 10

Now put the handle back in place and the job is done, your faucet will no longer leak!
